What do I need?

Two Macs on the same local network, with Waystone installed on both. The Mac an app runs on is its home Mac; the other is where you use its window.

How do I pair my Macs?

Open Waystone from the menu bar on one Mac, pick the other Mac, and type the six-digit code it shows. You only pair once.

Why does it ask for Screen Recording and Accessibility?

On the Mac sharing its windows, Screen Recording lets Waystone show a window on your other Mac, and Accessibility lets your clicks and typing reach the app. Local Network access lets the two Macs find each other. Nothing leaves your network; see Privacy.

My Macs can't see each other

• Check both Macs are on the same network, and Waystone is running on both.
• Check Local Network access is allowed for Waystone in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network.
• If one Mac blocks incoming connections, Waystone can connect out from it to the other Mac instead.

Can I choose which apps are shared?

Yes. Each Mac decides which of its apps the other can open, in Waystone's sharing settings. Blocking an app takes effect straight away and closes any of its windows open on the other Mac.

Can I use it on a work Mac?

Waystone is built for your own Macs. Managed Macs can have security software or policies that block it, so check your employer's rules before installing it on one.
